(HRG) is announcing the promotions of Tom Boyer to director of national accounts; Angela Pinkstaff to director of business development; and Beth Maas to human resources coordinator. Hamacher Resource Group, Inc. (HRG) employees contributed nearly $10,000 to local charities in 2013. Not only did the company of 60 associates contribute to their community through workplace fund-raising activities, they also participated in several external volunteering efforts and activities. HRG teams organized auctions and book sales, among other internal events, to raise money for breast cancer awareness and men’s health. HRG associates also volunteered for public park and river clean-up efforts, joined run/walks, and put together a team for The Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour, benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The one-day session is open to health, beauty, and wellness (HBW) manufacturers that are looking for in-depth information about how to navigate this unique channel. Dave Wendland, HRG vice president and member of the owners group, will lead the workshop and provide insights and advice based on his 20-plus years of experience in the industry and long-standing relationships with HBW manufacturers, wholesalers, and independent pharmacies. Waukesha, Wisconsin, January 16, 2014 – Hamacher Resource Group (HRG) has enhanced some of the strategies and deliverables of its core monthly category management program, TEMPS®, with a focus on improving the front-end profitability of independent pharmacies. In addition to introducing two new combination planograms, the company is incorporating even more actionable information in the monthly materials. Examples include breaking down merchandising steps into increments of time so the associate implementing the program can make their efforts most effective in the time available, and highlighting the top-performing subcategories so these sub-sections of the department are sure to receive attention.
