(Upsher-Smith) today announced the release of the first in a series of educational e-books created for independent community pharmacists, authored by Hamacher Resource Group (HRG). The first e-book in the series is “Community Pharmacy: Foundation for the Future,” and was developed to assist independent pharmacists/owners with assessing the state of their business and preparing strategies for continued growth. (Show)

Waukesha, Wisconsin, March 25, 2014 Hamacher Resource Group, Inc.’s Vice President and member of the ownership team, Dave Wendland, will present a continuing education (CE) session, “Reaching the Community,” at the Mutual Drug Spring CE Forum on April 6 in Raleigh, North Carolina. This will be the second consecutive year that he has presented at the Forum, sharing insights and ideas with community pharmacists to help them bolster business.  (Show)
Feb 20, 2014HRG Promotes From Within
Hamacher Resource Group, Inc. (HRG) is announcing the promotions of Tom Boyer to director of national accounts; Angela Pinkstaff to director of business development; and Beth Maas to human resources coordinator. Boyer and Pinkstaff will be responsible for managing existing client relationships and establishing new ones, and Maas will coordinate the company’s human resources.  (Show)
Feb 7, 2014HRG Makes Contributing to their Community a Priority
Hamacher Resource Group, Inc. (HRG) employees contributed nearly $10,000 to local charities in 2013. Not only did the company of 60 associates contribute to their community through workplace fund-raising activities, they also participated in several external volunteering efforts and activities. HRG teams organized auctions and book sales, among other internal events, to raise money for breast cancer awareness and men’s health. HRG associates also volunteered for public park and river clean-up efforts, joined run/walks, and put together a team for The Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour, benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  (Show)

Hamacher Resource Group, Inc. (HRG), is offering its most popular workshop, How to Grow Sales Within Independent Pharmacy, again on March 6 at its headquarters in Waukesha, Wis. The one-day session is open to health, beauty, and wellness (HBW) manufacturers that are looking for in-depth information about how to navigate this unique channel. Dave Wendland, HRG vice president and member of the owners group, will lead the workshop and provide insights and advice based on his 20-plus years of experience in the industry and long-standing relationships with HBW manufacturers, wholesalers, and independent pharmacies.  (Show)
