Did Amazon endorse old-school brick and mortar?

For those of you who’ve engaged with GMDC recently, you’ve likely heard me issue the challenge, “Make my day, or change my life.”
Essentially, how can you offer an experience that your shoppers can’t find anywhere else?

This is a major challenge in today’s disruptive retail environment, especially as speculation abounds regarding the possibility Amazon may be opening up to 400 brick-and-mortar stores.

What does this mean for the industry? Perhaps, a validation from the e-commerce behemoth that e-shopping can’t stand alone without the power of a strong, old-school brick-and-mortar experience…
